Es en serio,
¿Es que acaso mi vida no puede ser peor?
En Perú perdimos a Z Rock N' Pop. Con eso, ya no hay nada de música decente en provincias, y sólo queda escuchar RPP.
Pero en este mismo momento, esa pérdida, tan trágica, se vuelve insignificante, como la pena que está embargando al mundo entero.

Hoy, mi corazón está roto, Ronnie nos dejó a las 7:45 del 16 de mayo. Muchos, muchos amigos y familiares pudieron decirle sus adióses privados antes de que nos dejara pacíficamente. Ronnie sabía cuánto era amado por todos. Apreaciamos todo el amor y apoyo que nos han dado. Por favor, dennos unos días de privacidad para lidiar con esta terrible pérdida. Por favor, sepan que él los amaba y que su música vivirá por siempre

Me siento aún peor que cuando perdimos a Rick Wright. Ronnie había participado en grandes proyectos, todos respetados en el ámbito del Rock N' Roll: Rainbow (con Ritchie Blackmore, de Deep Purple), Black Sabbath (reemplazando a Ozzy Osbourne), Dio (su propia banda), y finalmente, Heaven and Hell (derivados de Black Sabbath). Con estas bandas, y con todoa la música que forjaron, se ha ganado un sitial en el Valhalla.-Wendy Dio.
Dio estuvo batallando contra el cáncer desde noviembre del año pasado. Parecía que ya había ganado la batalla. Pero no pudo vencer al dragón. Él, por suerte, ha terminado de sufrir, y está en un lugar mejor (lo siento, en esta ocasión no voy a hacer chistes misantrópicos).
Nuestra pérdida es terrible. Pero él ahora vive en nuestros corazones.
Así que le dedicaremos un pequeño tributo.
